Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.
M Scott Peck
Our first meeting will be on a no obligation basis. It will allow us to get to know each other and for you to tell me about yourself in a pleasant and confidential space.
Whether this is the first time you have considered counselling or psychotherapy or whether you already have some experience, you may be anxious.
Rest assured that either way you will find me warm and friendly.
The aim of the first meeting is exploratory on both sides with the priority being first to discover whether I am the right person to help you and then what you would like to get out of our time together.
If we agree to continue, real progress can often be made in 6-12 sessions or less and we can end at that point. In other cases, by mutual consent, we may embark on a longer term programme, with further sessions and regular reviews.
The therapies I offer are
- Person Centred Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy
- Couples Therapy
“It’s been good to be listened to and not judged. I’ve learnt that the way I deal with problems isn’t always helpful, and that there are other ways.”
